starry night cake

Ok, so in the middle of doing this, my kid did that thing where you think theres another stair at the bottom of the stairs, but theres not, and smacked his face on the banister. So my husband and I had to put a Nemo icepack on his face and give him some M&Ms, so I had some consistency issues with the frosting. Oh well, A. Im not freaking Van Gogh, B. its freaking frosting ok??? Im not Duff for christs sake.
Oh, and its carrot cake.
